Home-Flipping Rate Dips in 2Q But Still “Strong”: ATTOM

Home-flipping activity declined in the second quarter as a share of overall home sales but remained at a historically high level, according to ATTOM’s 2022 U.S. Home Flipping Report. So reports The Title Report.

AttomAccording to ATTOM, the second-quarter saw 115,198 single-family houses and condos getting flipped—8.2% of all home sales, compared with 9.7% in the first quarter. That's still the third-highest home-flipping rate since 2000.

“The second quarter was another strong showing for fix-and-flip investors," ATTOM Executive Vice President of Market Intelligence Rick Sharga said in a statement.
