Freddie Mac, Serena Williams-Backed Fintech to Help Owners

Freddie Mac has launched a program where it will give closing cost credits on multifamily loans to rental-property owners who report on-time rent payments through Esusu, a fintech startup that counts Serena Williams among its investors. So reports GlobeSt.com.

Esusu, which reports up to 24 months of past on-time rent payments to credit bureaus, has received an undisclosed investment amount from Serena Ventures, the tennis star’s venture capital fund.
