Nanny Sues for $1M Over Alleged Mortgage Fraud

A Mount Vernon, N.Y., woman employed as a nanny has filed a $1 million lawsuit over an alleged refinance scam. So reports Westfair Online.

Carmen Palmer claims that a fictitious loan modification company pretended to be her, filed for bankruptcy as her and collected years of mortgage payments.

The publication’s attempts to reach the defendants, Edith Walker and her B&W Foreclosure Help, were reportedly unsuccessful.
