The judge ruled that the complaint filed in 2021 by three Georgia counties failed to say enough about alleged discrimination in the period covered by the Fair Housing Act, which only goes back two years.
Fulton, DeKalb, and Cobb counties may take up to 30 days to amend the complaint with more specifics, U.S. District Judge Michael Brown wrote in the March 22 order.
