According to the lawsuit by Orange Coast and Real Advantage Title Insurance Company, longtime San Jose police officer and returning council candidate Tam Truong defrauded a title company employee, yielding more than $500,000 in allegedly ill-gotten gains.
A lawyer for Truong has previously denied all allegations against him.
