Mortgage Rates Dip to 10th Record Low of 2020

U.S. long-term mortgage rates have reached new historic lows once again. So reports Bloomberg.

According to Freddie Mac, the 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage averaged 2.81% in the week ending October 15, down six basis points from the previous week.

That’s the lowest in the mortgage giant’s nearly 50 years of tracking, the 10th such record low this year after hitting a previous low of 2.86% around a month earlier.
