Mortgage Delinquencies Spike by Record Amount in April

U.S. mortgage delinquencies had their biggest single-month increase on record in April. So reports USA Today.

According to Black Knight, mortgage delinquencies rose by 1.6 million last month, including past due payments and mortgages in forbearance.

The national delinquency rate also increased by a record amount for a single month, nearly doubling to 6.45%.
