Mortgage Applications Fall Despite Historically Low Rates

Historically low interest rates haven’t stopped mortgage applications from posting a decline. So reports CNBC.

!--more-->According to the Mortgage Bankers Association’s seasonally adjusted index, fell 0.7% for the week ending October 9.

Refinance applications were down 0.3% for the week but up 44% from last year, though the year-over-year difference had been 100% at other points in 2020.
