First American Financial to Buy Docutech for $350M

First American Financial has announced a deal to acquire Docutech, a provider of document, eClose and fulfillment technology for the mortgage industry, for $350 million in cash.

TSI Acquires Altasource's Financial Services Unit“The acquisition advances First American’s ability to provide lender customers with end-to-end digital mortgage and settlement services,” according to a press release. 

Docutech’s management team, including CEO Amy Brandt, will keep running the business.
