According to Freddie Mac, the 30-year averaged 2.99% for the week ending October 7, down two basis points from the previous week.
Freddie Mac’s chief economist, Sam Khater, said in a statement, “Mortgage rates continue to hover at around three percent again this week due to rising economic and financial market uncertainties.”
