Mortgage Rates Climb Over 3%, Hit Two-Month High

U.S. mortgage rates have jumped above the 3% mark to their highest level in 10 weeks. So reports Bloomberg.

Arrow up entrepreneur 1340649 640According to Freddie Mac, the 30-year loan averaged 3.02% in the week ending June 24, up nine basis points from the prior week.

The benchmark rate hasn’t been this high since April 15. Freddie Mac chief economist Sam Khater projected that rates will keep rising gradually through year-end.
