Julia Gordon, HUD’s Assistant Secretary for Housing and Federal Housing Commissioner, noted that supply and affordability challenges go beyond the lowest income groups: “We have seen the news that about half of the renters in this country have rents that are now unaffordable.”
Gordon also said that HUD plans to take action soon on large loan limits.
