Real estate investors’ share of home purchases nationally in the third quarter of 2021 jumped about 40% year-over-year, to a 16.4% share, according to the RealtyTrac Investor Purchase Report.
The share of investor purchases that were all-cash rose to 79% in the third quarter, up from 69.5% a year earlier.
