Fannie Mae Posts $4B Net Income in Q3

Fannie Mae recorded a net income of $4.0 billion in the third quarter of 2019, up from $2.9 billion in the prior quarter, the mortgage finance giant has announced.

The Trump administration’s proposal for overhauling the U.S. housing market, unveiled in September, would allow GSEs to keep more of their earnings.
